The major players in the legitimate POGO operations are the Philippine government, PAGCOR, and independent POGO operators. At this time, all POGO operations are at least partially owned by a Philippine company. The government has stated that no POGO operations are owned by Chinese organizations.

As of 2024 Pogo now mainly consists of single player Solitaire Games, Word Find, Mahjong and Hidden Object games, a tremendous change from once was offered.
