A roulette game is strictly random and any hope of actually getting an edge at the game died when the new (now relatively old) computers took over the wheels.

Roulette is believed to have been invented by the French mathematician and physicist Blaise Pascal in the 17th century while he was attempting to create a perpetual motion machine. The modern version of the game, with its current wheel and betting layout, was developed in Paris in the late 18th century.
